Volunteering at The Faisal Luke Pro Bono Project will give you the opportunity to work directly with female victims of domestic violence who would not normally be able to, or not be aware how to, access free legal advice.
The advice you give has the real possibility to make a difference to a woman’s life and may even be lifesaving. Volunteers can offer as much or as little time as they can manage and would not be expected to advise at more than one clinic per month.
The Faisal Luke Pro Bono Project accepts applications from female solicitors and barristers who specialise in family law, specifically Private Children (Family Law Act 1996 and Children Act 1989) and Public Children and Injunctions. We also welcome family practitioners with knowledge of Immigration and Asylum Law and Divorce.
